You must be over 18 years of age to make purchases from akvihome.se.
We deliver to addresses in Sweden and the other EU countries (Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain). We also deliver to Switzerland.
Postage and packing
We offer free postage and packing for all goods within Sweden for orders over SEK 800. No supplements added.
If your order is for less than SEK 800, then the normal postage and packing rate of SEK 48 will apply.
Please note that the offer of free postage and packing for orders over SEK 800 does not apply to orders for delivery to other EU countries and Switzerland. Postage and packing of SEK 250 is charged for these orders.
Payment conditions for invoiced orders
Invoiced ordering is only permitted for orders up to SEK 4,000 and only for people registered as resident in Sweden. Invoiced orders cost SEK 19.
The invoice sent to the purchaser is to be paid within 14 days ( 30 days net for business customers). If this is not the case a reminder is sent (fee for reminder SEK 50 plus late payment interest of 2% pa). If the invoice remains unpaid it is referred to a debt collection agency. All goods remain the property of Akvi Home until payment is received in full. All fraud is reported to the police and court action taken.
We will check that the purchaser’s details are correct, that the purchaser is at least 18 years of age and has a good credit record. If any of these criteria are not met, then the purchaser will be asked to pay by card or the order will be cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel an order should we think it necessary.
Conditions for card payment
Payment is accepted by the following cards VISA, MasterCard and Diners. All orders can be paid for using a card regardless of the order amount. If the purchaser does not have a good credit record or is resident abroad (if buying on behalf of someone in Sweden), then card payment is the only acceptable form of payment.
The delivery time varies depending on the goods ordered. See product information for details. If the goods are in stock, you should take delivery within 2-5 working days. If the goods ordered have different delivery times, then the longest delivery time will be the one used. Packages are delivered by the post office and are delivered on weekdays. Note that the delivery times stated apply to deliveries within Sweden. Delivery times for the EU are a few days longer depending on the country.
If deliveries are delayed we will inform you via email. You have the right to cancel when deliveries are delayed. We will do everything in our power to complete your order. However, there are occasions when this proves impossible, for example when suppliers cannot meet their obligations to us. We are not liable for compensation relating to delayed deliveries.
Risks associated with deliveries
We are responsible for the risk of goods in transit, i.e. the risk that goods are lost or damaged on their journey from us to you. If you change your mind about a product and return it you are responsible for any loss or damage during the journey back to us.
The price stated on akvihome.se at the time of purchase is the one that applies. Prices are unit prices including VAT unless otherwise stated. We are not liable for obviously incorrect prices.
Other delivery addresses
The delivery address does not need to be your address and you can choose to set up different delivery addresses, for example for parcels. However, please note that payment must be made by card or Internetbank for deliveries to addresses other than your registered address. This is to avoid misuse of personal details and reduces the risk of receiving an invoice for something you have not ordered.
Please note that if you are not registered as resident in Sweden you can only pay by card or via direktbank see below.
Personal details are stored in our customer database when goods are ordered. The database is used to enable us to provide the best delivery, contact and customer services. Details are not passed on to other companies and unauthorised personnel do not have access to the database. The database is maintained and administered in accordance with the Personal information laws (PUL).

Exchanges and returns
You must contact us within 14 days of receipt of damaged or faulty goods, or if we send the wrong items, if you wish to make a claim. You will receive a replacement item or a refund if we no longer have the item in stock. If the item has been damaged in transit, please return the complete parcel including packaging to your post office. In the case of faulty goods, we will send you an address card so you can return the item without any cost to yourself.
Akvi Home checks its orders before they are sent out to you. If the goods are damaged or incorrectly despatched we will therefore resolve the matter at no cost to you.
Right to cancel
According to consumer protection legislation regarding home selling and long distance agreements (2000:274) you have the right to change your mind about a purchase within 14 days of delivery. The goods should be returned unused and in their original packing. You should receive a full refund excluding postage and packing and the cost of returning the item. We can refund payments to bank accounts at Swedish banks, post giro or bank giro accounts. Cash on delivery cannot be used for returns.
According to the distance selling legislation, the right to cancel does not apply in the following circumstances:
- A service has begun with the purchasers’ agreement during the cancellation period.
- When an item because of its character cannot be returned or which will deteriorate quickly or is perishable. Examples of such products include foods and products with visible wear and tear.
- A sealed package where the seal had been broken.
- The right to cancel and 14-day cooling off period do not apply to businesses.
The right to cancel does not apply to products in the ”Delicious” section.
Send an email to email@example.com with your (the purchaser’s) name, customer number, order number and relevant information. You will receive a reply from Akvi Home with a returns number.
On the returns form you received with your delivery you should state whether you would like an exchange or a refund via your bank/post giro account or whether the goods have not yet been paid for. Include the returns form in your parcel.
Return the goods in the original packaging with the relevant internal packaging. (The goods should be in their original condition (i.e. unused and undamaged. The goods should be returned in full. This means that all accessories should be included in the return).
Address the parcel to ”Akvi Home, Hästhagsvägen 4a Tyresö (SWEDEN)”
Deposit your parcel at the relevant post offce and pay postage. Done!
Please note delivery charges are not refunded in the case of exchanges/returns. If you have chosen to be invoiced the amount payable will be adjusted so the delivery charge remains payable. This invoice must be paid.
When returning or exchanging goods the purchaser is responsible for the transit risks. The difference in cost arising when exchanging goods for goods of a higher price and the additional delivery costs will be included in a supplementary invoice raised for the person requesting the exchange (whether sender or the recipient). No postage charge is payable in the case of damaged/faulty goods (see below). Akvi Home will not pay carriage charges for items that do not have a returns number from us and /or have not had carriage paid in full. Akvi Home will not accept items sent cash on delivery.
Akvi Home retains the right in cases where returns are incomplete, to charge the cost price of the missing items subject to a minimum charge of SEK 500.
